50th Anniversary Celebration

Classes:

There are Sunday School Classes for every age group starting at 11:15 a.m.

The Adult Sunday School classes for the Spring Quarter:

·         Three classes are offered for adults this quarter:

Membership Class - This class introduces the history, identity, and theology of the Orthodox Presbyterian Church and Bethel. All who are interested in joining the church or who wish to familiarize themselves with our church are welcome. Teacher: Pastor Fikkert. Meet in the east adult classroom (off of Fellowship Hall).

Deuteronomy, part 2 - Deuteronomy records three sermons from Moses just before Israel entered the promised land. In this course we are looking at several key themes of the book, and move forward to the New Testament to see how Jesus and the Gospels, Paul, and other NT writers understand the foundational work of God with Moses and Israel. This is the second of a two-quarter course. Teacher: Chris Sudlow. Meet in the west adult classroom.

With All Your Heart - If to love God with “all your heart” is the greatest commandment. If God warns us to “keep the heart with all vigilance.” If God tells us that our heart is “deceitful above all things”—and sometimes calloused and impure or sometimes tender and clean—but always where our treasure is. Then it should not surprise us that some would say heart is the most important word in the Bible to describe who we are. But what is the heart? How does it relate to our mind and will? How does sin affect our heart? How does Christ minister to us so that we can love him with all our heart? Come, and learn. Teacher: Pastor Troxel. Meet in Fellowship Hall.
